I accept the following terms and conditions 

I, the undersigned, desire to participate in the EDANA Sustainability Forum 2024 conference organised in Brussels, Belgium, from 5 to 7 November 2024. In exchange for being permitted to participate in and enjoy the benefits of the Event, I acknowledge and agree to the following:

1.  REGISTRATION CONFIRMATION. Any registration is confirmed and complete once EDANA has received the funds. Hence the event must be paid prior to the event for the participant to be allowed to attend. Participants who have not paid their registration fee will be requested to show a proof of payment upon arrival.

2. ASSUMPTION OF RISKS. I acknowledge my Event participation may expose me to various risks and dangers. I hereby assume all risks associated with my Event participation, including for personal injury, death, loss of or damage to my property, or any other loss.

3. WAIVER AND RELEASE OF CLAIMS, LIABILITIES, AND ACTIONS. To the extent permitted by applicable law, I hereby waive all claims against, release from all liability (including for negligence), and agree not to bring any action against, EDANA and its directors, officers, employees, agents, volunteers, representatives, contractors, successors, and assigns (collectively, "Released Persons") for personal injury, death, loss of or damage to my property, or any other loss related to my Event participation.

4. DEFENSE AND INDEMNIFICATION. I shall defend and indemnify EDANA and the Released Persons from all losses, liabilities, claims, and actions (including reasonable attorney's fees and litigation expenses), related to: (i) my acts or omissions; (ii) my Event participation; (iii) the rights granted by me to EDANA under this Agreement; or (iv) my breach of this Agreement.

5. PUBLICITY PERMISSION. I grant EDANA to photograph, record, digitize, reproduce, distribute, prepare derivative works based on, publicly perform, publicly display, and otherwise use and exploit my name, image, likeness, voice, biographical information, and other personal characteristics as they may appear in photographs, recordings (audio and visual), writings, messages, and other materials (collectively, "Materials") related to the Event, in all formats and media now known or hereinafter created, for any purpose, including for advertising, trade, and commercial purposes. I acknowledge EDANA is the owner of the Materials and I have no right to inspect or approve the Materials or EDANA's use of the Materials.

6. EVENT CANCELLATION. EDANA reserves the right to cancel this event due to circumstances beyond the control of the organization. In the event of cancellation, EDANA will do its best to make attendees aware of the cancellation in a timely fashion. Refunds of registration fees are not guaranteed in these circumstances.

7. REFUND POLICY.  Up until 8 weeks prior to the event, event registration fees are refundable with a 100€ cancelation fee. Between 8 weeks and 4 weeks, event registration fees are refundable at 50%. Less than 4 weeks prior to the event, refunds are no longer available.

8. NAME SUBSTITUTIONS. Substitution of name on individual registrations are permitted at no charge at any time after registration is finalized, but not after credentials have been picked up at the event.

I READ THIS AGREEMENT AND UNDERSTAND ITS TERMS. I UNDERSTAND THAT BY COMPLETING THE REGISTRATION PROCESS BELOW, I AM ENTERING INTO A LEGAL AGREEMENT, WHICH BINDS ME TO THE TERMS OF THIS AGREEMENT, AND THAT I AM GIVING UP SUBSTANTIAL LEGAL RIGHTS, INCLUDING THE RIGHT TO SUE EDANA AND THE RELEASED.

I accept the privacy policy hereunder​.

The organizer and its processor idloom process your data in compliance with European GDPR. The information you have provided is necessary to organize the event you will be attending, to generate invoices, to confirm your registration by e-mail, to create your badge and to allow you to modify your registration. This data may also be processed by the organizer upon its legitimate interest: to promote its activities by informing you about them, to show you offers from partners and sponsors regarding this event, to obtain analytics about this event, to ensure a satisfactory networking by showing your name and company on the list of attendees. You are entitled to object to these processing operations.

idloom shall only process User’s personal data in the European Union, or in third countries after having secured appropriate guaranties with the subcontractor or recipient. They are transferred to the country of the organizer. The organizer will keep your data after the event until the expiry of the legal retention obligations, in particular fiscal and accounting and until the end of the responsibility.

You can obtain from the organizer (delphine.rens@edana.org) the written communication of your data, as well as, where appropriate, portability of the data, rectification, restriction of processing, deletion of data which is inaccurate, incomplete or irrelevant. For further information or to lodge a complaint you may also contact the supervisory authority of the country of your habitual residence.

I hereby consent to the processing of health-related or religious data, necessary to organize catering or accessibility.
